British pop star Leona Lewis is reportedly in talks to launch a vegan fashion line – to promote the ethical treatment of animals. But now Lewis is rumoured to be launching her own clothing range full of ethically sourced products to give fellow vegans more of a choice when stocking their wardrobes.
According to Female First, Lewis has already stopped wearing diamonds as well.
The X Factor singer refuses to wear leather because she is a vegetarian and wants more alternatives to be available. The 25-year-old beauty has also stopped wearing diamonds in protest at the way they are mined.
Lewis is also quoted commenting on the importance of launching a vegan fashion line.
“I have been a vegetarian since I was 12 and I hate the thought of animals being killed just for our pleasure, so I won’t wear leather.”
