Tommy Hilfiger & Dee Ocleppo Engagement Party
World famous American designer Tommy Hilfiger has celebrated his engagement to blonde beauty, supermodel Dee Ocleppo in Manhattan. The evening was attended by Gayle King (Oprah Winfrey’s B.F.F.), Russell Simmons, Anna Wintour and movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.
People.com reports that the twosome were feted at the Neue Galerie, the Lauder family’s museum devoted to Austrian and German art.
Leonard Lauder, chairman of the board of cosmetics giant Este Lauder, toasted them in a room of canvases by Gustav Klimt.
According to New York Social Diary, the couple are planning to marry on August 8th of this year.
Mr. Hilfiger was the most famous face in the room, and almost iconically famous it is. The betrothed couple were dressed the part and looked as if they were beating the heat of the day: he in a well-tailored grey suit and she in a cool looking white lace cotton dress. Looking just a smidge older than the famous image, he still looks boyish and has kept his boyish figure. His bride-to-be looks like a Sunkist baby from either Florida or Southern California. Together they exude 21st century Americana just like the man’s famous image: boy next door as tycoon.
When asked of the exact date for their upcoming wedding, Hilfiger answered back, “Eight Eight Eight.” The Fashion Blog wishes happiness and long life to this couple.
