Brighten Up Your Black Suit
The color you wear may directly affect your mood. Even if you need to put on a formal black suit, try to brighten up your attire with colorful shirts.
It’s usually common to wear a black suit with a white shirt and black tie. This formal style is widely acceptable for all kinds of business meetings, interviews or any kind of formal occasions.
However I advise you avoid wearing white shirts all the time as it may be too boring. A bright shirt of some energetic, bright color may be a good alternative. Try purple, light pink or blue, maybe even dark blue and silver. In fact, the colors may make you look very attractive. You can also try stripped, textured or some other patterned shirts as well which will also intensify your black dress suit charm.
If you have already chosen the right color shirt, you will start thinking about accessories. Try to color coordinate your belt color, cuff links and tie with your shirt color. Very often your belt will match the color of your shoes, while your cuff links and tie may be the same tint. You may also put on a tie of the same color as the shirt but differentiate the tint, like a light blue shirt with a deep blue tie.
