Hannibal In New Fashion
A relatively new, but very promising name in fashion industry is Hannibal. Established in 2008 by one of the new fashion designers Simon Hannibal Fischer, this fashion company is moving forward with fast and steady strides to conquer the European fashion market.
Hannibal now has stores only around the designer’s homeland of Germany – in Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt am Main. But the successful appearance at the Berlin Fashion Week on July 7-11, hopefully gave a new acceleration to the worldwide recruit of the brand.
At his latest mens fashion show, presenting the spring-summer collection 2011, Hannibal once again proved to be one of the most successful ones during the fashion week.
Hannibal works only with menswear, creating very original, classy and ready-to-wear clothing. During its two years’ activity the brand has already created its typical sharp style and is following it boldly, crashing the stereotype that change is essential for fashion. It follows the strategy of permanent style and followers.
Elegant, manly, handsome, slim, stylish and sophisticated — these are the words describing the clothes presented on the runway of Hannibal’s latest mens fashion show. The palette of the sets was balanced between matte tones of black, gray, ivory, beige and white. The models were perfectly chosen to match the intended image of a self-assured and relaxed handsome men, who care about their appearance and are modern but still stick to the classic style.
The main feature of the collection were pants with rolled cuffs, showing off the ankles of the models and the retro style shoes. Vests and jackets, combined with shorts also claimed the look of the brand. The whole style created a sexy image with the help of wider necklines, which excellently accentuated the form of the shoulders, and slim silhouettes of low-riding pants.
The collection definitely deserved the attention paid to it, and I personally hope that the Hannibal brand will make its way through Europe and eventually conquer the States as well. It’s truly a most handsome brand, and men around the world should have the chance to try on this clothing.
