Vintage Stories
Without funny accidents life is boring. Even if they don’t happen to you that often, it is pleasant to witness funny, cute stories that happen to people surrounding you. And I was lucky enough to be part of such an occasion that drew two of my close friends together.
Me and my friends were having a party at one of the clubs down the street. It was packed full – you know, glimmer, disco clothing, beautiful dresses. But it was pretty dark, with light effects – one could not actually see a thing inside there.
Two of my very good friends hadn’t met each other before, so I introduced them and it wasn’t long before they became absorbed in conversation. The night was great- – we danced and had fun till early morning when we finally had to leave the place. So, somehow gathering my crowd from all the corners of the club, I pushed them out on the street and there it happened.
All of us looked at that new couple (finally saw them properly in the morning light) and rolled around on the ground from laughter. Both of them were wearing 70′s style vintage shirts with the same print. They were the only ones in the huge club to have such outfits, they were unique. That funny moment was stuck in our minds from that day on. And I should tell you, this couple is still together, though it happened a long time ago.
In general, wearing clothes that suit the couple might really be a nice touch, even if it’s on purpose. The easiest way to do that is by wearing shirts with similar prints or inscriptions. You and your partner can brainstorm what kind of shirts to wear and order them especially for you, or just try surfing the Internet for the best vintage clothing websites. You will definitely find something appropriate for you both. In any case a couple who is dressed alike looks cute and in love, so don’t avoid it, have fun with it.
