Surrounded with secret shadows and spirits, the phenomenon called “woman” has always been a mystery for men–a pink, fluffy and flirtatious mystery.

So, not being able to decode the nature of women and to understand them, men have developed a number of stereotypes in the course of their centuries-long attempts to create a truthful image of a woman. So, let’s see if they have succeeded…

Myth 1. Every woman knows how to cook from the very first moment of birth.

• Why do they think so? Because once long time ago a man caught a mammoth and the woman decided that the meat is too tough and put it on the fire to roast? Nowadays, in the age of supermarkets, microwaves and fast food, men consider every activity in the kitchen as cooking, even if it’s just decorating the plate with carrots.

• Advantages for women. It turns out that it’s so easy to create an image of a good housewife. And after the long-lasting and exhausting cooking session, you can always ask him to wash the dishes or take out the trash. At least he can’t claim that he has killed a mammoth for the meal!

Myth 2. Every woman is crazy about cats, fluffy toys and everything with pompons.

• Why do they think so? Because all the enumerated “items” are symbols of comfort.

• Advantages for women. When your man happily brings home a cat from somewhere to flatter you, you can keep it (no matter how angry you are ), as it’s the best way to show him your tenderness. By watching how you are stroking the cat, your man will definitely imagine you doing the same to him.

Myth 3. Women adore taking care of themselves.

• Why do men think so? Because very few men, being in their right mind, dare to tear out their hair from various body parts. They think that if we women do that and even pay mountains of money for that, it means that we’re fond of it.

• Advantages for women. Well, I should say, we like to be drenched in sticky, disgusting creams or have the upper layers of our scalp burned with acid when trying to go blond, of course! But the main thing is that trying to look good is always an appropriate excuse if you’re late for a date.

Myth 4. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend — so a man’s dignity is compared with his possibility to buy those diamonds.

• Why do they think so? First, all men have experienced the fact that those who are richer get the most beautiful women. Second, they always notice how married women especially boast about their diamond bridal rings.

• Advantages for women. In reality women fall in love with rich men more because of their leadership skills and not for their money. The gifts that they present to us show how much they care. But if a man paid much more attention to a woman’s nature he would notice that presents can be replaced with simply time spent with us.

Myth 5. Women understand all children no matter what nationality or age.

• Why do they think so? Because every man has once been a little boy, who had a mom, who always knew what’s good for him.

• Advantages for women. When this stereotype is fixed in the consciousness of men, they will happily entrust you to their own (future) child.
