Let’s continue with the topic of flirting. In my previous post I was speaking about a harmless flirt, and in this one I’ll identify the types of flirting that can really put your relationship at stake.

This post will help you to make right conclusions out of your boyfriend’s actions, and you will learn how to control yourself in “dangerous” situations.

Let’s take the same situation as last time. You’re at a party with your boyfriend. There are many people around, a lot of drinks on the tables and smiling faces, and you are standing there, wearing one of your sexiest and most elegant dresses. You go to the ladies’ room and when you come back, you see that your boyfriend is standing somewhere in the corner and talking to a thin blonde girl in a short dress…

Everything is serious if he…

• Breaks into her personal space (i.e., is critically close to her body) while talking to her, “hangs” over her during the conversation, puts his arm on the back of her chair or touches the top of her shoe with his. This means that he, subconsciously, wants physical closeness.

• Constantly touches her hand, her shoulder, her clothes or, for example, her white pearl necklace, assuming she is wearing one. These kinds of gestures show that he considers his interlocutress as an object of sexual desire.

• Changes the topic of the conversation the moment you approach them, meanwhile acting in a confused and apologizing manner.

• Spends the whole evening somewhere among the guests, apart from you, demonstrating to the rest of the crowd that he is practically free (single).

• Is in a bad mood and blames you after the party, saying things like “you said something wrong,” “you interrupted my conversation with someone,” or “you were laughing too loud.”

Everything is serious if you…

• Compare all the present men with your boyfriend and realize that he doesn’t win in that competition.

• Are in the same situation as described above, when another man is standing close to you.

• Constantly dance with the same man who is not your boyfriend.

• Don’t even pay attention to the fact that your boyfriend is lost somewhere in the crowd.

• Happily give your phone number to the guy with whom you previously danced all the time.

In these cases you may not realize that you acted inappropriately, but if your boyfriend sees that, the consequences will be grave. This is what I meant in the beginning, saying that you have to learn to control yourself and behave properly. After all, what can be more fashionable than a woman who knows what to expect from these kinds of situations and never makes mistakes?
