A Harmless Flirt
If you are a beautiful, fashionable and interesting person, flirting is something you can never avoid. It is a part of life and an irreplaceable ingredient for fashion.
But what is the difference between a harmless flirt and cheating? In this post I will describe several situations in which flirting can be counted as a simple expression of communicability.
Let’s take a corporate party as a typical example of a situation in which people can flirt with each other to make it more interesting. Let’s imagine you have asked your boyfriend (partner) to join you there.
Now, there are a lot of people around, a lot of drinks on the tables and smiling faces, and you are standing there, wearing one of your sexiest and most elegant dresses. You go out to the ladies’ room and when you come back you see that your boyfriend/partner is standing somewhere in the corner and talking to a thin blonde girl in a short dress…
Why he is flirting:
- He tries to blend in with new people. Don’t forget that you have asked him to come to the party, so he is trying to break the ice with your colleges and has found someone who is easy enough to talk to. Don’t try to interrupt him–small talk is the best way to integrate into a new crowd. One thing you can do is call him for a dance (maybe he wants to get rid of that blonde, but doesn’t know how to do it).
- He wants you to be jealous. This can mean that you don’t pay enough attention to him, and he does something to draw your attention to himself. In this case you better approach them and get involved in the conversation: you will not interrupt them and he will feel pleased that you joined him.
He is being flirted with:
- Don’t worry, maybe that blonde has no complexes or is already a little bit drunk. Or maybe it’s just her tactics, she’s trying to flirt with everyone in order to get popular. It’s her problem, not yours. Not paying any attention can hurt your boyfriend, because he might think you don’t care. So, you should take a position where you can see them properly and where they can see you, so both of them know that you are watching.
You are flirting:
- You want to show your boyfriend how lucky he is to get a woman who is so popular among her colleges. He may, on the contrary, think that what you are doing is too artificial and unacceptable. However, if you still want to do that, don’t forget to introduce him and somehow show out that he is yours. This will also flatter him.
You are being flirted with:
- All the other men have the same problems as your boyfriend does, so, don’t pay attention to that as long as it doesn’t go too far. They are just establishing their positions among the co-workers.
Behaving properly is always fashionable, so, from now on, if these kinds of situations occur, be calm and handle them correctly, so that later you don’t regret making a big issue out of nothing.
