Hello Kitty In Vogue Nippon Magazine

Hello KittyHello Kitty will be modeling the latest autumn and winter designs of John Galliano of Dior. This is reportedly the first time that Dior has chosen a cartoon character model for its entire collection.

Hello Kitty Hell reports that Kitty will also be featured on the cover of the June magazine wearing the latest autumn/winter designs from Dior.

While you are rolling your eyes at the complete absurdity of the whole concept, Hello Kitty fanatics are drooling in anticipation. My wife, upon learning about this news, called our local bookstore to see exactly when the magazine is arriving so she could be the first to get one. You know that Hello Kitty Hell has once again dropped to new depths when the evil feline is regarded as a top fashion model

Sanrio Town quotes the publisher of Vogue Nippon commenting on Kitty’s possible role for Dior’s new collection.

“Japanese animation and characters have been a strong influence on the fashion world in the last few seasons, but Kitty is special,” according to an official of Conde Nast Japan. Fashion people all know her name and face and always say they love her. That’s why we at Vogue wanted to do something involving her.”
