Bitten SJP: Access To Well-Made Clothing

bitten sjp access to well made clothing Bitten SJP: Access To Well Made ClothingWhile some celebrities are proclaimed the “worst dressed,” others are icons of style. And some of them are  creative enough to launch their own celebrity clothing lines.

One of them is actress Sarah Jessica Parker.

Sarah has been very successful in her career as an actress. She took four Golden Globe awards, two Screen Actors Guild awards and two Emmy awards for playing Carrie Bradshaw in the “Sex and the City”. But SJP is not just a talented actress, she is also a remarkable figure in the world of fashion. In 2004 she was recognized by the Council of Fashion Designers with the Style Icon award.

She launched her own clothing line called Bitten, which has a rich collection of simple, yet well-made jeans, dresses, sweaters, sleepwear, swimwear, jewelry and belts. This collection suits women of different ages and sizes. With the Bitten clothing line, women can find beautiful, fashionable clothes at affordable prices. Sarah admits that she made the Bitten clothes simple and affordable, because she herself grew up in a needy family.

In one of her interviews she said: “It’s a way of giving women without financial means access to good, simple, well-made clothes to feel proud of.”

There are so many clothing lines and sometimes it’s so hard to choose from them. But Bitten  has certain reasons to be distinguished from other celebrity clothing lines.

Here’s what Sarah Jessica Parker says about this: “Madonna’s line for H&M is extremely directional, provocative and sexy. I don’t know J.Lo’s line as well, but I know that it’s much more trendy than Bitten. L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani is much more avant-garde, definitely high fashion. But I don’t want to do that for women, because that’s not really their lives. Bitten is simple silhouettes that are affordable.” And this is what every woman needs, I think. She does a great job.
