When I woke up this morning, it was snowing heavily and I felt the extremely cold breath of winter. Well, I like snow, but I can’t stand the cold. And it was then that I started considering warm and cool hats for winter.

I did research on the Internet, and you know, the great variety of winter ladies hats greatly amazed me — there were about hundreds of hats, and all were beautiful, warm and sexy, in other words, just what I wanted.

Still some time ago I considered Russian style hats as part of men’s wardrobe. And I don’t remember at least one day when I wore a Russian style hat. But it was some time ago, now I admit I was very much mistaken.

They turned out to be warm, cozy and very trendy for this season. You can find Russian hats (also known as trapper hats, flap hats, aviator hats and ski hats) made of various fabrics, including leather and fleece. However, trust me the material, which will keep your head warmer than the rest is fur. Fortunately, your choice of Russian fur hats will be wide.

For a total trendy look, I advise you to wear these cool hats with a colorful neck-piece.

Then come the hats, which will hardly ever go out of fashion, and which look even more fashionable this year than ever. You are right, I’m talking about newsboys style hats.

These cool hats with rounded body and, very often, with a button on the top are always fashionable, because they suit nearly everybody.

Most popular newsboy hats this year are made of fur, wool and corduroy. Besides there is a very rich color variety available (let me remind you that one of the most popular colors of season 2010-2011 is red). One fashion advice — wear your newsboy hat with a scarf of the same color. This will make your look more complete.

The cloche hats, which gained their popularity in 1920s and experienced a brief period of resurgence at the end of the 20th century, are very popular nowadays. These ladies hats have the form of a bell and are ideal for women who do their best to go trendy and modest.

These hats can also be decorated with jewels, feathers, precious metals, and exotic fabrics for a more fashionable look.

While I it was writing this post, it stopped snowing — time to go shopping for a very nice ladies hat I came across on the Internet (between you and me I picked it among the list of Russian style ladies hats). So let me hurry up until it hasn’t started to snow again.
