Two Helicopters With Versace Interiors
In collaboration with Agusta Westland and a branch of Finmeccanica, Italian Fashion House Versace has designed two helicopters that have already been handed to their owners. The owners of the two Versace Interior helicopters are Bruno Zago, an Italian businessman, and former Romanian tennis-player Ion Tiriac.
To provide perfect flight experience, each of the Versace helicopters is committed to elegance, luxury, excellence, comfort, safety and high technology.
Skycontrol.net reports that the highest standards and the best materials have been used in designing these helicopters.
Following the launch of the Grand with Versace styled interior and paint scheme in 2007, Agusta Westland and Versace further strengthened their collaboration in February this year adding the AW139 to the range of helicopters to offer an even wider range of design solutions to provide the most luxurious and stylish helicopter interiors. The Versace interior is one of several interior designs offered by AgustaWestland for its VIP/Corporate range of products.
According to Stylefrizz, each of the helicopters has a retail price of $5-$6 million.
The interiors have black and white leather seats with Medusa head logo imprints and were made in over a year, in collaboration with (like they could have done it without!) Agusta Westland, a branch of Finmeccanica (Italian defense and aerospace group). Like snobbism couldn’t go any further, the two declare that they travel to work like this and that Versace it’s a beautiful brand.
Giancarlo Di Risio, the Versace Chief Executive, is quoted commenting on the new helicopters and their interior design.
Helicopter interior design is the natural development for Versace. What is the luxury of today? It’s planes, helicopters. We are in the highest end of luxury.
