Victoria's Secret Got Sued
52-year-old woman, Macrida Patterson, has filed a lawsuit against Victoria’s Secret Company, “claiming that she suffered an eye injury after an allegedly defective low-rise v-string flew apart and struck her in the eye.” The accident happened last year in May, and Patterson suffered with eye pain.
SASSYBELLA.com reports that Patterson alleges that a decorative metallic piece flew off the garment and struck her in her eye, causing injuries.
The Smoking Gun has the court papers filed by a Los Angeles woman who claims that a decorative metallic piece flew off a defective Victoria’s Secret “low rise v-string” (slightly different from a g-string – Karolina Kurkova is pictured in a VS one, right) last May. In the paper she alleges that a decorative metallic piece flew off the garment and struck her in her eye, causing injuries.
According to The Brock N’ Roll Blog, this lawsuit wouldn’t even go through.
Instead of suing the entire company over a damn little injury, she should have just brought the thong back to report it to management is a better way to handle it if she had the receipt. I’m sure the company themselves would love to be in service to help their customers with problems, but nope, this stupid woman wants more money off of them. I’m sure the eye injury wasn’t all that bad. It ain’t like the doctors put an eye patch on her something.
FN’ FAMOUS quotes Patterson commenting on her decision to file a lawsuit.
“I was putting on my underwear from Victoria’s Secret, and the metal popped into my eye. It happened really quickly. I was in excruciating pain. I screamed. That’s what happened,” Patterson said.
The lawsuit is still in the process, and no news is yet revealed.
