Trina Turk's Hot Runway Show On Miami Beach
Last week world famous fashion designers shocked Miami with their colorful, sexy swim wear on hot, bronze bodies.
This summer fashion show for already six years has been astonishing the world with fantasy and reality.
The Raleigh Hotel opened its hospitable doors and all the guests enjoyed the amazing Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim 2011. Many famous designers including Aqua di Lara, Qiss Qiss, Luli Fama, Kooey Swimwear Australia, Ed Hardy Swimwear, Crystal Jin, Swimwear Anywhere, Hoffman Swim, Poko Pano and this season’s Mercedes-Benz Presents Designer, Trina Turk, were presenting their Spring 2011 fresh and extravagant collections.
This event lasted between July 15-19 and contained 20 exclusive runway shows on Miami beach. The perfect bodies in different colors allured the audience.
The collection named “Acapulco Gold” made by the fantastic designer Trina Turk was in first place. Turk’s Thursday night show was deluged with the metallic shine of gold. The inspiration of this collection was the city of Acapulco of the 1960′s and 1970′s — the period when it was a most glamorous resort. She used many golden accessories, large hats and golden hardware to get the desired effect on the audience.
It is said that the best new in the fashion world is the well-forgotten old. Trina Turk successfully implied this sentiment in her collection. Modern style maillots, which only a few days ago were totally ignored in the fashion world, looked absolutely amazing.
Besides all this she works with colors like a magician.
“Color is something that is very important to our brand. It’s always, always about color,” she said. “That’s my favorite thing, is working on the color combinations for the textiles that we use.”
This time she played with white and black in multicolored patterns, which made her bikinis unforgettable. The key to stunning swimwear is that it can’t be ordinary and serve a purpose — it has to properly define a woman’s body. Her hips, butt, breasts and legs have to appear in perfect harmony. And this is exactly what Trina Turk has mastered.
