Nordstrom Store In Florida
Nordstrom has opened its third
store at the Aventura Mall, in State Florida.
City of Aventura, Florida 33180 reports that Nordstorm will have different counters along with its fashion and beauty counters.
The Nordstrom wing will host several tenants who are opening up sprawling “flagship” stores that enable them to carry more exclusive lines. For example, coming soon are a 30,000-square-foot Forever XXI store, which sells fashion to young adults, and a Calvin Klein “white label” store with more than 10,000-square-feet of clothing and accessories.
Nordstrom’s President Blake Nordstrom is quoted by the Miami Herald explaining some of the difficulties first encountered in selling to the local population and how they were overcome.
I think over time, we’ve learned to really respect and understand better this very diverse customer in South Florida. I think we’re doing a better job of flowing in the merchandise, the allocation, the buy and changing seasons appropriately. We’re being careful if its fall or winter that the sweaters or outerwear have a different weight, a different quantity or a different time in the store than we would in some of our other stores up north.
Press Release Depot quotes Tony Espinosa, the store manager of Aventura, commenting on their cooperation with the Nordstrom administration.
“We’re thrilled to finally be opening at Aventura Mall. This location, in one of the best malls in the country, complements our other two great Miami-area stores. We’re still relatively new in the Miami area and can’t wait to introduce ourselves to more customers.”
