Paris Fashion Week Ends

 

ParisParis Fashion Week has came to a close on Sunday. The show presented the latest collections by world-famous designers such as Louis Vuitton, Chado Ralph Rucci, Miu Miu, Lanvin and Nina Ricci.

Papierdoll Magazine reports that Paris Fashion Week also marked the end of the series of fashion weeks that are generally held in New York, London and Milan.

Paris fashion week essentially ends the major fashion week season which consists of New York, London, Milan and the City of Lights. Some of the most notable shows include Rodarte, Marc Jacobs (NY), Valentino, Emporio Armani, Gareth Pugh, Louis Vuitton, Chloe and countless others.

According to Women24, Paris Fashion Week presented the major fashion trends for Fall 2008.

Still, the collection paraded several of the major trends for fall 2008 to have emerged during the six-week fashion show cycle - volume skirts, narrow floating trousers and long dresses matched with clunky-heeled shoes.

Next year’s Paris fashion week promises to bring freshness and lots of fun, reports The Daily Telegraph.
