If you think that choosing women’s wallets is a very easy task, then I have to disappoint you.
It is one of the hardest things to do, because it’s not an “independent” accessory. The choice of wallet depends on your outfit and your bag. It also depends on your make-up.
For a woman a wallet isn’t just a case for holding money or credit cards. It is something very personal for her, like a diary, in which she keeps a lot of things that are dear to her. That is the reason why you may find that she keeps photographs and even letters from her beloved there.
Before buying a wallet, you should make a list of your needs: color, shape, size, material and of course, price.
The color is very important because if you dress all in red and take a blue or green wallet it will certainly not be appropriate. Try to match the color of your wallet with your clothes as much as you can.
The right choice of shape and size is as important as the choice of the make-up you wear with your evening dress.
There are different materials to choose from for your wallet: cotton, silk, leather, nylon, steel, velvet, twill and so on. The better the material, the higher the price is. Generally wallets are made of leather (depending on the type of leather they can be very expensive), because they are long-lasting. But if you need something cheaper, you can choose another material like nylon.
Prices depend on the material the wallet is made of and the brand name. If you want to be unique, you should buy a wallet from a certain brand, like Gucci, Chanel, J. P. Ourse & Cie or Lovcat. But you can surely buy your wallet from special clothing stores which offer large choice of women’s wallets. Many prices vary between $30-$200 or even higher.
