Eve Bust Magazine Cover
Singer Eve Jihan Jeffers, better known as Eve, is featured on the cover page of Bust Magazine. According to The Shop NJ, the issue of the magazine has the slogan, “For Women With Something to Get Off Their Chests.”
Make Fetch Happen reports that the magazine not only has Eve on the cover, but also a feature article.
I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does it contain the feature article on Eve, but there is also an interview with Reno 911’s Niecy Nash, a piece on former Stiffed lead singer turned solo artist Santogold, and short pieces on dance troop Brown Girls Burlesque and Sia Amma, a Liberian born performer and activist.
The bloggers behind Beauty Blabber are fans of Bust Magazine, and liked Eve’s makeup so much that they want to share the basics of how to copy it.
In fact, we liked Eve’s makeup look so much on the cover we wanted to show you how to get it: To get Eve’s eye makeup look above start out by applying a lighter gold/peach color shadow on your lids. Next, take a green or blue shadow and apply it to the crease using half moon circle strokes. It instantly makes your eyes pop! Next, apply a black thicker eye liner right in the upper lashes. Take the same pencil and apply it inside the rim of your eyes. Apply 3-4 individual lashes on each eye and finish off with two coats of black mascara. For the cheeks, apply a peach coral colored powder blush like Cargo Gold Coast ($24). Lastly, to get red glossy lips just like Eve’s apply a coat of Dior Addict Plastic Gloss in Electrifying Red ($24.50).
Bust always features interesting people, stories and interviews, so it is beyond a doubt that Eve on Bust’s cover page will just be another stimulus to buy and read the magazine!
