Tips For Buying High Heels
Whenever I plan a party, my friends know that they must be at least half an hour late. Why? Because I need time to choose the shoes I’m going to wear.
My closet is mostly occupied with high heel shoes. And I’m proud to say that the shoes that I bought two years ago still look fabulous on me. My secret is simple: I buy sexy high heel shoes that look good on me, not on the shelves.
When buying high heels first of all make sure you’re comfortable in them. Walk around the store or stand still for a few minutes and then make a decision. If the shoes don’t fit perfectly, they’ll make your walk clumsy and will affect your foot health.
The height of the heel is also very important. If you choose higher heels than you usually wear, you still need to walk around before your feet get used to them.
Try to buy shoes in the afternoon, when your feet are a bit swollen. This way they won’t hurt when you put them on in the morning.
If you don’t have a lot of practice in walking with high heels, you should choose thick heels. They are more comfortable than thin ones.
Some dresses don’t require high heels. Make sure to look in a full length mirror or ask someone else’s opinion. High heels always go with jeans or classic pants.
Pay attention to the material. Leather, for example, always looks good.
Choose the right color. Bright pink, yellow, red and bright green will make your shoes stand out, whereas black, gray and brown will complete your look without drawing much attention.
And finally, you have to really like your shoes to feel self-confident and be the queen of the party.
