Heidi Klum Picks Up A Peabody Award
German supermodel Heidi Klum, who is better known for her marriage to singer Seal, has received a Peabody award. The list of this year’s Peabody award includes Comedy’s Central’s The Colbert Report; BBC America for White Horse; Showtime for Dexter; HBO for To Die in Jerusalem; Sundance Channel for Nimrod Nation; and mtvU for Half of Us.
Gossip Girls reports that this year, the event was organized and produced by Harvey Weinstein, who has got onstage to hand the award to Klum.
The luncheon ceremony was hosted by 60 Minutes correspondent Lesley Stahl, as she filled in for NBC News anchor Brian Williams, who opted to spend time with his NBC colleagues in the aftermath of Washington bureau chief Tim Russert’s death.During the course of he event, producer Harvey Weinstein got onstage to accept an award for Project Runway – “insisting that Miss Klum get up onstage with himself, Tim Gunn and other executives for the show.”
According to Gossip Prince, Klum styled up the press line at the 67th Annual Peabody Awards at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on Monday (June 16) wearing a sexy white dress and black heels.
