Lily Cole To Leave Fashion World Soon
British beauty Lily Cole was discovered when she was fourteen. She featured in ad campaigns such as Chanel, Hermès, Christian Lacroix, Topshop, Longchamp, Cacharel and Anna Sui Cosmetics.
Lily was the face for Moschino’s “I Love Love” perfume. In 2004 Lily Cole was named as “Model of the Year” by the British Fashion Awards. She took part in such catwalks of the international runway as Versace, Chanel, DKNY, Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano and Louis Vuitton and in many other famous catwalks.
This eye-catching model wants to leave the fashion world. The thing is that 21-year-old Lily got tired of modelling. Now, she is studying History of Art at Cambridge University. Lily still has two years to study and time to think over.
The model also got involved in cinematography and it looks like as if she prefers acting to modelling. In one of her interviews the British beauty said that she is all involved in art and cannot do without it. She is fond of playing piano and painting. Her mother is an artist too and she played a great role in her decision.
Lily Cole says that acting is closer to her heart. But, of course, modelling career helped her a lot to gain confidence in front of the camera and gain experience. She has already filmed in “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” and Rage. And, yet, the model thinks she needs more practice for better acting.
But let Lily Cole fans not be upset as your favorite model may make a comeback.
